The Spits playing @ The New Parish tomorrow (win tix)

Be-robed Seattle punk rockers are playing at The New Parish tomorrow night with The Mouthbreathers and Dirty Cupcakes. Though originally slated to play as the Gories, Ty Segall and co. ended up putting on a surprise Spits performance at the Halloween show last month at Brick and Mortar Music Hall. To sate your Thee Oh Sees craving until the November 15th release of Carrion Crawler/The Dream Seattle’s weekly rag dug up this 9-song oddity from John Dwyer‘s impressively prolific past. Dwyer teamed up with ’ frontman Mike Donovan in the wake of The Coachwhips’ dissolution to form , a thrashy, noisy precursor to both contributor’s current bands.

UK label Upset The Rhythm released , the band’s only EP.

Carrion Crawler/The Dream is out November 15th on .

Ty Segall playing free show @ Brick and Mortar next Thursday

Similar to the Oh Sees show, you’re going to have to . Ty Segall goes on at 8pm with a DJ set before by Annie Southworth. Brick and Mortar Music Hall is located on the corner of Mission and Duboce. The party starts at 6pm and is co-hosted by Drambuie. 21+
