Ty Segall joins revamped Sic Alps, tours with them in August & September (and possibly much sooner)

With the European stint of his tour over and a new LP quickly approaching, reports that Ty has joined in the garage () at the same time as Matt Hartman and Noel Von Harmonson, two of the founding members, are leaving. Both bands have extensive tours planned later this year, so it looks like Ty is keeping his calendar of American shows this summer before joining Sic Alps back to Europe beginning August 19th. After that, Ty returns back to the states for a .

No word on whether we can expect an appearance of the revamped Sic Alps at tomorrow’s Thermals-curated , but you should be going to that anyway. It’s free. .
