Preview: San Francisco popfest 2011

The lineup for this year’s annual Memorial Day weekend festival has already been announced, with a mix of bigger-than-usual names and local weird-pop acts headlining shows at the Rickshaw Stop, Hemlock, Cafe Du Nord, and Dolores Park between May 25th and the 29th. Some highlights of this year’s lineup include Seattleite three-piece Seapony, who recently signed with the Subpop label spin-off Hardly Art and will be dropping their debut album Go With Me at month’s end; post-punk punk locals Terry Malts; Virgina duo Eternal Summers; and local (as in me) favorites Dominant Legs and The Mantles.
$60 will buy you entry into all shows… a marginal discount on if you purchased tickets to each show individually.
